Do you offer any coaching?

Yes, we do. Whether you're prepping for a test, improving conversation skills, or building grammar and writing confidence, our one-on-one sessions are customized to your goals — and available both online and in-person.

Is your certificate recognizable?

Our certificate is not part of a DLI (Designated Learning Institution) program, so it doesn't apply toward immigration or post-secondary credits.However, it’s still a valid and professional record of completion, often recognized by employers, sponsors, and training programs as proof of your learning and commitment to self-improvement.

How do I make a payment?

Click on the registration link. You'll be prompted to create a profile and follow the prompts from there.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit cards, debit, e-transfer, and secure online payments. In-person cash payments can be arranged for local clients.

Are there payments plans or subscriptions available?

Yes! we offer flexible options including pay-as-you-go (weekly or bi-weekly), monthly subscription packages. For some prep classes, upfront payments are required prior to starting.

How much is each course?

Pricing is laid out per session, however subscriptions are purchased in bundles.

Are there any registration or material fees?

No registration fee for most courses. Some advanced test prep programs may include optional resource or workbook add-ons. You'll see this clearly at checkout.

Is this refundable if I cancel or change my mind?

Yes — we offer a transparent refund policy. Cancellations made within 3 business days of course start may be eligible for a partial refund or credit. Subscription programs can be paused or canceled at any time (conditions apply).

Is this a one-time course fee or a subscription?

We offer both:
- Short-term prep packages (one-time payment)
- Ongoing ESL or tutoring (subscription-based)

Can I use government funding or sponsorship?

Yes — we can work with third-party funding sources or sponsorships. If you’re a newcomer, job-seeker, or part of a settlement program, we’ll help guide the paperwork.

Is your certificate recognizable?

Our certificates aren’t part of a government-designated DLI program, so they won’t count toward immigration or post-secondary credits (yet). However, they do serve as a formal record of your training and progress — and are often recognized by employers, sponsors, and support programs as proof of language learning and personal development.
However — and this is key — your certificate can still be valuable and recognized in other meaningful ways:

When PREP Institute certificates are recognized or useful:
Employers – Many employers simply want proof of upskilling or English proficiency. A certificate from a professional prep or ESL course shows initiative and commitment, especially when paired with improved language confidence.
‍Settlement agencies / job programs – For resume-building or ongoing job search, your certificate acts as proof of training.
‍Test prep progress – For students prepping for IELTS, CELPIP, or Pearson, the certificate marks milestone completion and effort, which can be meaningful for advisors or sponsors.
‍Self-employed professionals or business owners – Your certificate shows continued development in communication and presentation skills (a major advantage).

Will I get a receipt for taxes or reimbursement?

Absolutely. Every payment comes with a formal receipt. If needed, we’ll provide additional documentation for work/school reimbursement or tax use.

What happens if I miss a class?

We get it — life happens.
Online group classes are recorded (when applicable)
One-on-one sessions can be rescheduled with 24-hour notice
Missed classes are not refundable but may be credited if due to valid emergencies. You will need to connect with admin in order in times that a credit is requested.
